Computer accessories, motorcycle, and cars are three biggest exports from Japan to the United States while military apparel and precious metals are big imports into Japan from United States. Just for information, worldwide demand for Japanese cars, electronics, and other goods are rebounding after collapsing during the global economic crisis in 2008. If you read the latest US Census Bureau, you will find value of the Japan exports to the United States fell 31.1% to $95.9 billion for 2009.
So, Japan rang up the healthy $44.8 billion surplus in its trade with United States. The other most popular Japanese exports in 2009 are generators and transformers, other industrial machinery, computer accessories, pharmaceutical preparations, and semiconductors on $2.4 billion, down 31.2%.
